Degrees

The M.S. in Social Work program is a 60-credit-hour degree program.

The curriculum for ÃÛÌÒÉç's Master of Social Work (MSW) on-campus program includes 60 credits divided into foundation and advanced courses. The program spans a minimum of two years for full-time students and up to five years for part-time students.

SPECIALIZED PRACTICE YEAR (30 credits)

Offers two concentrations in the Specialized Practice Year:

  1. Clinical Social Work: Focuses on strengths-based practice in various clinical settings. Prepares students for licensed independent social work practice.
  2. Community Administration Policy Practice (CAPP): Prepares students to engage in structural changes at the organizational, community and community levels.

Students are expected to complete two field internships providing practice in the real-world settings.
