The M.A. in Semitic and Egyptian Languages and Literatures program is a 30-credit-hour degree program.
The M.A. in Semitic and Egyptian Languages and Literatures can typically be completed in two years. This includes nine credit hours in the student's major language beyond the introductory level and at least six credit hours in a second Semitic language or Coptic. Up to six credit hours of advanced Greek may also be counted. Students can take relevant courses from both the ANWSL and NECLL programs. Additionally, students must select two major research papers (graded B or better) for approval.​
